The Conspiracy of Caroline

Salist offers an alternate story that is sort of famous, that before Caroline revealed to them his plans, he passed around a bowl of wine mixed with human blood and made them all swear and oath together. And so by their complicity in this crime, he sort of bound them to secrecy and they issue a curse upon anybody who breaks the oath. Unfortunately for Caroline, they end up failing in the elections of 64. It was maybe never worse than this in the history of the Republic.
