The Importance of Rural Economy
I grew up in a rural area, and I think it's very common for people who are not familiar with that kind of lifestyle to assume that it's simple. But rural areas can be incredibly sophisticated and can have incredibly sophisticated exchange economies of their own. And then again, you start seeing the difference. It's actually in some areas where there are cash crops in other areas where it's sort of people don't live in farms, but they live in villages.
