The Effect of Air Traffic Control Cuts on Air Travel Demand
The good news is after a very disruptive year, last year in terms of the pace at which air travel demand returned. This year actually so far, we've seen the performance quite strong each month. So far in 2023, the preliminary data show cancellation rates under 2%. We actually haven't seen that happen every month this far into a year in many years. But it is going to be a challenge if we can't hire the air traffic controllers we need.
