What's the Right Learning Material for Your Language?
Steven Kruger's book learning APL is the right way in. Bob would lean on Henry Rich's book, Jay for C Programmers even though Alex isn't a C programmer. And one more thing I'll add for neural networks is if you go to J Playground and you go to examples, there is a running example of a neural network.
