The Wagner Group's Mutiny and the War in Ukraine
Russia is a vital exporter of wheat to lots of nations around the world, most especially poor countries in places like Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Wagner's forces are mostly used for offensive purposes; when Russia wants to launch an offensive set of operations, they could be down 10 to 50,000 troops. Ukrainian President Zelensky has pursued increasingly aggressive attacks in this war, both inside and outside of Russia. And that's even after we and other Western partners have told them not to conduct those aggressive acts.
