In the API industry when you look for API monitoring mostly about synthetic tests another API world has caught up with observability. Most of the time it's only logs and only access logs of your API if you get with it. Open telemetry is a big topic and we are working on adding distributed tracing to our gateway so that in the end everybody can push the distributed traces into the system and really have that end-to-end picture.
