Is There an Explanatory Rule?
"We do calculate according to a rule and that is enough," he writes. "What we learn at school, for example, forget this transcendent certainty which connected with your concept of spirit" He asks the meta question: Is it logic to say some things are fixed and some things are not fixed? The important thing that comes out here is this idea that when we learn a language, we're not learning the way we learn a second language.
