Joanne Smith-Farrell is the CEO of Cambridge, Massachusetts, B.E. BioFarma. The company aspires to create engineered B-cell therapies for cancer and rare diseases. Joanne came to lead this startup in 2021 from Bluebird Bio's oncology business unit. She accepted my challenge to join the Kilimanjaro campaign to raise $1 million for the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center.
