Afrobeats - Is Nigeria Important?
Nigeria is extremely important in that system because number one is where the music comes from. It's like dancehall and jamica. You cannot... No matter how international dancehall gets, you can't remove it from jamica. So it's the same way with Afrobeats. Like no matter how many billion people listen to Afrobeats, it does not change the fact that it's from Nigeria. And then it's home. There's no Jullof rice in LA. I mean, there's Jull of rice in LA, but it just doesn't taste like Jullof Rice yet.
