How to Measure Success in Philanthropy

In philanthropy, there's not an easily agreed upon metric that you measure success. Sometimes the arc of change happens slower than one would like. There are indicators that could be positive indicators that don't quite reach the goal. We sometimes double down and sometimes stick within. Other times we often make exit grants and in the same way you exit investments.
