I Saw Her Dad Leaning in the Doorway
Mikayla: I've always wondered for myself, like what happened to my grandpa after I like closed my eyes and went back to sleep? Like does he just fade away? Does he jump into the sky? He walked away. But it's interesting because I don't remember him walking to my mom's room or anything to say goodbye. She says she remembers waking up and seeing him leaning against the doorway of her bedroom. "I really do like that she got to confirm for her mom," writes Mikayla.
