What Is an Unintended Hack?
Use Eternal Blue, the NSA code name for an exploit in Microsoft Windows. This is a vulnerability because it allows someone to gain unauthorized access. So there's a computer example of a quintessential hack. It's there. The code permits it. If the designers knew about it, they would have, they would patch it. They don't know the hacker knows, then the hacker gained some advantage.
