Transgender Activists Are Not Going to Let Another Repeat of Portland Event
"These fascists must be stopped. I never had to organize an event before that where I had to post women at the windows," she says. "It was like being in a siege situation knowing there were so antagonistic and they went to stalk us and track us down" In 2013, it looks like transgender activists were not going to let another repeat of Portland happen in Toronto because even though we vetted all the women, we had conversations with them. They still did.
