Twitter's $72 Million Success Fee

Twitter is suing Walktail, the company that negotiated its $44 billion sale to Tesla. The firm says it violated Twitter's fiduciary duties by not writing out a success fee for Musk before he took over as CEO. In California, such fees have to be written at the front end of any deal rather than on the back end like in this case.
