What Motivates Hackers When They Find Bugs?

The offence market, like i said, can raise their prices at any time. It's a question of what motivates hackers when they find bug. So even if they know they could get more money for it on the offence market, they're basically like, ye, but you know, there are passengers in my vehicle that i care about and so i'm going to give it to the vender for free.
