Lesson Number Two, Life Has Hidden Costs

This Christmas, I just got back from spending it with my family up in Boston. Our cat that we've had for 20 years since I was a kid basically, passed away. It's hard to see people you love in a dark place. And so as we walked out of the vet clinic the day after Christmas, I thought to myself, what's interesting is this whole thing was unavoidable.
