ETFs - You're Only Buying and Selling for the Market Maker
When you run a hedge fund, the returns are only as public kind of as you want them to be. When you run an ETF, right, you're not striking that but what most people are looking at is price. Most of the time when you buy and sell on the exchange, you're buying and selling for the market maker. But if someone does it in a way that they're just not thoughtful about it, yeah, you can get your face ripped off in a less liquidETF. That just make it a difficult vehicle to be successful with as a boutique.
