Bakhish, which means a tip or a charitable home, is given to restaurant workers, taxi drivers, tour guides and hotel staff in Egypt. Bakhish has something to do with their religious belief that giving alms to the poor is one of the five tenets of Islam. A tour guide is a beggar that doesn't calculate in my mind. I guess it's a cultural thing. But hey, you're from America. So we would all be tigers. You go to Egypt. Here comes business.
