Lucy's Slow Movement
This is a very active brew, and as you can see it's so wonderfully wrapped into this. In the beginning almost impenetrable package of beauty because it just sweeps you away. For me it's the heart of the work because it's so personal,. He becomes very intimate in those early bars of that, and it just pairs everything down. The way that he uses the woodwinds, and particularly the clarinet, which is very similar to the slow movement of the second symphony but it is a moment.
