Molecular Genetics - What Did It Lead To?

I've never done molecular biology myself. I was quite good at it because that's what you're trained in psychology to do blind experiments, to do them in a certain way and to analyze them correctly. But the disadvantage was I didn't know any biology. So I'd learnt it on the hoof. And we rescued the arrhythmic behavior by putting in a piece of DNA,. which in 1984 was amazing. People didn't really believe genes could encode behavior, let it in a complex behavior, like a biological rhythm.
