The Blind Spot in My Life
In the first five, six years of my leadership, I was so focused on how I felt about things and what I believed that I really was not a consensus leader. My wife saw this very, she just said, John, you have, you're too singular and you're focused. And for the first time in his life, I began to see other people who had temperaments different than me and how they saw their world. Followers are inward focused. Basically the followers question is always, how will this affect me? Where are leaders I should have put in front of a good leader?
