The Importance of Access to Television

I think that television has not been typically valued as highly as film in relation to the idea of preservation. There is some archived television now, but I think that it's still relatively recent that archivists have thought about archiving television. The more that we see scholarly publications on television, the more it might be considered a cultural artifact that is meaningful. And, you know, definitely worthy of preservation and so that's a great point. Yeah, that's a really great point. That seems to be a marked absence in also disregard of Latino, Latina, Latinx writers, producers and actors in that says something about like the lack of Latinidad was understood as related to US national identity
