The Restoration of the Liberty Statue

The Boy Scouts have had a long history of being associated with the statue of Liberty. The original torch is now underneath the statue in the museum and they replaced it with a nickel and gold plated solid torch with a reflector. accessibility issues were taken care of in a way that hadn't been before. There's actually closed circuit viewing area for wheelchairs. All the stairs were replaced somewhere along the line. They had put the stairs going up and down long after she was put up. But now they had to replace them all because they were all worn out.
