Introduction

On today's episode of On Common Sense, we'll begin speaking about St. Francis of Assisi and the topic or theme for this year's Chesterton conference. G.K. Chesterton had a great affinity for this great saint from childhood and did choose St. Francis as his confirmation saint when entering the Catholic Church in 1922. The book was the first book that Chesterton wrote following his conversion to the Catholic Church and it is kind of a spiritual biography. And in some senses, maybe a psychological autobiography.
