The Role of Satellite Cells in Muscle Growth

The idea is that people have generally thought that these satellite cells would come in. And they would divide and then you'd still have another satellite cell. We actually have bladed satellite cells as well we took them out of the picture completely. It's another model, the Kentucky group has come up with it's called the PAC 7 DTA so diptheria toxin selectively. You know, gets rid of the DNA in satellite cells. SoWe were able to do that at the same time and we saw no change in our rates that we were measuring in the DNA synthesis.
