I was very aware that the two writers before me who had lasted the least amount of time were both the writers of color. And then the rest of thi the writing staff, was mostly white. Or, if not, i think it might have been completely, at the time, completely white. I don't know. It's possible that that was the opening that allowed new writers to yesman,. also, i guess i'm hedging, because it was a thing that was very much on my mind, but i don't think i've set it on a podcast.
