Having a PhD in Interventional Pneumology, Is a Must for a Leader

I think there are probably now six or seven inprovential pulmonologists that are leading pulmonary divisions across the country, and that number is growing. You have to have something that gives you a special niche. And i do think there's something about being at the head of a bed in an operating room for a patient with a central airway obstruction which may be as harrowing as any medical procedure can potentially go through. I think we're just scratching the surface as intervential pumonologists an exploring this area.
