The film follows the life of a deported man who returns to his family after 15 years. He is in limbo as he tries to figure out how to stay, but for the first time has hope. "I love seeing this spark inholdfan's eyes now, you know, that he's jus like, maybe there's a shot here," says director Ruben Navarrette.
