Culture of swiss banking and secret keeping is down stream of their realities righte both their physical realities of the land they inhabit, and the technological realities of money at the time. So there's a feedback loop between culture and, let's say, the incentive systems. But in my mind, money's just the ultimate incentive system, because it's call option on everything else,. And so long as humans are acquisitive yet, money would be at the top of that hierarchy. From a purely darwinian standpoint, it's fungible freedom. Who wouldn't want it? Fungible freedom?
