How to Breathe in and Out

Inhale five, keep it gentle. Exhale five. On your own, keep the breaths equal. You might find that you'd like to lengthen the breath. So I encourage you to try this practice later today, tomorrow throughout the week and play around with breathing for six, maybe seven counts. If the breath is feeling more shallow at times, take it down to four counts. But once again, the idea is that you're taking around five or six rounds of breath per minute and doing that for a few minutes.
