How to Start a DIT Career

Josh: I personally like to look at the lighting and use a meter sometimes. Part of my job is to know where the equipment breaks, how it breaks and why it breaks. You have to start out by taking time at a rental house to learn the equipment. And then from there, you have to go to the post houses to understand how they work. So color management, data management, working with others are the tenants in becoming a DIT.
