The Hostility of Certain Sounds in Conlangs

Urock is a language from california which has roteic harmony. Non-high vowels can assimilate and become roteics depending on morphology, the look of pure horror and discussed on his face when i mentioned that it's really really worth it so i just thought that was interesting how strong some conlangers feel about certain sounds huh wow I think sometimes um feeling against that particular sound comes from the perception that it's english-y because i know that i used to not like i used to really hate that sound uh but then i learned chinese which some in some cases it has that sound.
