Psyche and Aphrodite
Psyche waited until the hottest part of the day. Then she slowly made her way towards the flock, singing a gentle song under her breath. She stroked the sheep when he began to stir and continued to sing our gentle Alalabai. In a matter of minutes, Psyche had enough wool to offer Aphrodite. So when Aphrodite arrived that evening, Psyche presented her with a heaping pile of golden wool. A piercing glance from Aphrodite said: I have to admit, you're starting to impress me.
