The One Cent Journal, One Cent Cost, Two Cent Quality Paper

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist William Randolph Hearst tried to make his journal the best in New York City. But he made a mistake by trying to compete with other one cent papers, which had higher quality writing and reporting. He didn't consider that once he did this, he doesn't have the high ground anymore. And now it seems like the journal is the world's leading newspaper.
