There's been a huge tradition in this country to look at suburbs as places filled with angry, white, alienated people. 96 % of the growth in suburb in the last decade was among minorities. We have to start thinking about how do we make life better for the vast majority of people? I think that's the challenge that our society faces and it's a challenge that cities also need to face.
