Political Decisions - How to Make a Decision on Social Issues
We're more likely to vote for candidates who are better looking, have more symmetrical faces. And 75% of the time, five-year-olds pick the person who won the election knowing nothing more than what this person's face looks like. In other words, on some implicit level, when we're making our decisions about candidates, part of what plays in there is like the residues of who you want to lead your voyage to Candyland. It's absurd, but it's very biological. And it's very implicit just rumbling underneath the surface in us.
