Why We Rewatch Old Shows
Lena Dunham is a very controversial figure. She has a lot of haters and a lot of them are justified in why they hate her. I don't want to get into it, but I do think it's unfair to go after her body. People rewatch because the experience of watching it at an older age allows them to appreciate the present instead of yearning for the past. A series like Girls could be comforting to 30 somethings who have grown from that struggle.
