Silicon Valley hustle culture isn't particularly friendly to anyone who wants to have a little family and be present for that family, he says. "I think it's really, even for people that aren't parents, I find that culture to be increasingly toxic" He was living with his VP of marketing 10 years younger than him at the time in Austin, Texas. The move almost killed his marriage but allowed him to spend more time with his family.
