How to Talk to a Younger Runner About Heavy Resistance Training
I think that if you are, again, dealing with a younger runner, that's very important for the sake of bone health because we know bones respond to dynamic, high, unpredictable loads. So this heavy resistance training can help with great adaptations at tendon, muscle, bone. And I've always lifted, but I'm 41 right now and it's a huge advantage for me. You guys will go through this year on an incomplete rehab program.
