I remember this Kamala Harris was on the cover of Vogue and they put a, of this very informal looking picture of her wearing sneakers and her team freaked out. It is funny because people mostly comment on women politicians appearances and everybody gets annoyed at you when you do. But of course, these choices they make are incredibly deliberate and are in, and do sort of intend to signal what they're up to.
