A new classical station had just gone on air on the same day as my birthday. It encouraged me to imagine that all that lovely music was being played just for me. Writing started to happen again, su episodic pieces and tipsy letters to friends. A few were still folded up and tucked in among my many note books. Some of those note books are old now. The ones from that time don't contain anything especially interesting or important,. Just the minutia of the daily round, the comings and goings, the humdrum details which life depends upon.
