If we were to compare soil in a farming practice, that is more of a conventional one where there are sort of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, maybe animal manure, etc., could you tangibly notice a difference in the soil biology or quality? You would find a completely different situation pertaining to places in soils which have been hit by years of farming. And this is because we've been treating soil as if it were just stuff,. We haven't been recognising it as a biological system. So we haven't been protecting it as a Biological system should be protected.
