How to Think About Human Institutions From Within the Biblical Narrative
i think it's important for christians to locate s human institutions in the biblical narrative. The prophets were raised by god to say, we've got to get the light of the nations when israel has fallen into bad imaging,. And what's the biblical term for fast false and bad imaging? It's called idolatry. Idolatry is a false image, a bad, corrupted image. So that when you look at the prophets f the old testament, they do care about the idolatry happening in assyria and philistiin and babylon. But first most, they are most concerned with getting right any and correcting any idolatry within israel's mists
