The Homebrog Computer Club
The homebrog computer club has een building similar things for quite some time. They were goaded a little bit by one less solomon who suggested they develop a smart terminal kit. The sal 20 was essentially a better altare, built into a wedge shaped box with an integrated keyboard. It output to a t v and had basic and rum. And here's the biggy, it was still built around a 100 pin bus. This gets us into a semi mystical issue. With early 100 pin buses, noise pulses running along the 100 lines of the bus could, on occasion, interfere with each other. 88 hundreds also tended to leak electrical noise.
