How to Reduce the Need for Watering in Pots
I've heard that frequent watering encourages shallow roots, and therefore you need to water more frequently. A lot of people have had really problems with their plants in pots, because they've been using peat free compost. So i take the basis out of all my big pots, and they are then so even in a paved o, i cut the paving out underneath them. It might sound involved, but it's not that difficult.
