The Myth of the Secretary of War
Roosevelt wanted to keep us out of the war. The myth lasted almost three decades. A book was published titled Day of Deceit by Robert Stonette and he came across a document as a result of the Freedom of Information Act. It's important to know that Hawaii was not a state at this time. Completely embargo all U.S. trade with Japan in collaboration with a similar embargo imposed by the British Empire. This was actually implemented.
