The Language of Excess and Abundance

The unconscious is essentially the excess absence. That which we have done so much that it has graduated into absence and automation. And in a lot of ways, the entire purpose of the consciousness of the mind is to do things such that they end up being absent. So I love this language of excess and absence because first of all, it reminds me of intensities and repetition. It's again re-signifying our relationship to these symbols and thereby to your own desire and enjoyment through these symbols.
