Chinese New Year 2023
There are 12 months in the Chinese calendar, and they alternate between 29 and 30 days each. This adds up to 354 days, which is about 11 days short of a solar year. And this difference needs to be made up by a leap month with the Giorian calendar. They add that every four years, but with the Chinese calendar,. a whole leap month is added approximately every three years. 2023 is such a leap year. By the way, this coming Chinese New Year falls on January 22nd, and we're passing from the year of the tiger to the year ofThe rabbit.
