The Problem With Partisanship and Tribal Thinking
We've lost 60 years of public policy because of the very weird coalition between a certain strain of right-wing libertarian and left-wing progressive in the 1970s. This guy Thomas Zaz, I think that's how he pronounces his name, who insisted there really was no such thing as mental illness. And apparently the crime that they were committing was thinking differently than sort of contemporary society. It was all nonsense. We left a lot of people to suffer.
