Preaching That Isn't Boring

In training preachers are you having these young up and coming preacher trainees? Right. Listen to comedians. I got this idea from Oliver O'Donovan who talked about how sometimes we can learn things about a particular discipline by thinking about an adjacent discipline that we aren't very familiar with. And in our society, there are only or there are primarily two categories of human being that speak in public. Politicians and comedians besides preachers and comedians are absolutely awesome at some things that preachers are particularly bad at.
